SAAMA FIGHT NIGHT VIII — OFFICIAL RESULTS
February 28, 2026 — Heritage Inn & Convention Center
Brooks, AB
Fight Night 8 delivered a sold‑out, high‑energy evening that brought together athletes from multiple provinces and a wide range of gyms. From the opening bout to the final bell, the night showcased real growth in skill, composure, and ringcraft across every age group. We saw disciplined youth performances, highly competitive teen matchups, a memorable comeback, and even a first‑round stoppage — all wrapped in an atmosphere of sportsmanship and mutual respect.
The community of Brooks showed up in force, filling the venue with an energy that elevated every moment. Their support helped create a powerful night for young martial artists across Muay Thai and Kickboxing, uniting talented gyms in a shared commitment to guiding the next generation forward.
Every fighter stepped into the ring with courage and heart, each walking away with something meaningful to grow from. Combat sports are emotional, and sometimes those emotions run high — but the commitment shown throughout the night deserves recognition.
Behind the scenes, the SAAMA team and volunteers were the backbone of the event. So many people came together — even at the last minute — to make Fight Night 8 possible. It was a true community effort, and it showed in every detail.

To the Athletes
To every athlete who stepped into the ring: thank you for showing courage, discipline, and heart. Whether you won or learned, you contributed to something bigger — the growth of our martial arts community. Keep building, keep leveling up, and keep showing the character that makes this sport so powerful.
Your performances reminded us why combat sports matter. You showed resilience, respect, and the willingness to test yourself — qualities that carry far beyond the ring. We’re proud of every one of you, and we can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next.
You didn’t just compete — you inspired. You gave the crowd something to cheer for, you represented your gyms with pride, and you helped strengthen the foundation of youth and teen martial arts across multiple provinces. Thank you for giving everything you had.
To the Community
Thank you to everyone who filled the venue and brought your energy, encouragement, and positivity. Your support fuels these athletes and helps grow the martial arts community in our region.
Your presence made Fight Night 8 more than an event — it made it a celebration of local and regional talent, discipline, and heart. Thank you for showing up for these athletes and for helping build something meaningful.
Your enthusiasm helps us create more opportunities for youth and teens, and we’re excited to keep growing this community with you as we look ahead to Fight Night 9.
